Equine massage is a non-invasive, hands-on therapy that focuses on the soft tissues—muscles, fascia, and related structures that influence how your horse moves and feels. Horses develop tension and compensation patterns from training, uneven development, saddle fit changes, travel, turnout slips, old injuries, and even normal day-to-day wear and tear. When soft tissues are tight or sore, horses often move differently to protect themselves, which can affect comfort, performance, and recovery.Massage helps by improving soft tissue mobility, supporting circulation, and encouraging the nervous system to shift out of “fight or flight” and into a more relaxed state—so the body can recover and move more freely.

BEMER Therapy is an innovative treatment designed to improve circulation and promote overall health in horses. It stands for Bio-Electro-Magnetic Energy Regulation and uses pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) to stimulate blood flow. For horses, this therapy can be a game-changer, especially for those recovering from injuries, dealing with chronic conditions, or simply in need of better overall health.
How Does It Work?
BEMER Therapy works by delivering electromagnetic pulses to your horse's body, which helps improve blood circulation at a microlevel. Better circulation means more oxygen and nutrients are delivered to cells, and waste products are removed more efficiently. This can lead to faster recovery from injuries, reduced inflammation, and increased energy levels.
Benefits of BEMER Therapy

Equine taping is a non-invasive technique using elastic therapeutic tape applied to the hair coat to provide gentle, targeted support and sensory input. I use EquiTecs tape, which is purpose-built for horses (not adapted from human kinesiology tape). It’s designed to adhere to equine hair, be breathable, and prioritize safety—engineered to “give way” if misapplied.
Depending on the goal and application, taping can support soft tissues (fascia, muscles, tendons/ligaments), joint comfort, and body awareness (proprioception). It’s commonly used alongside bodywork and training/rehab plans to help the horse move more comfortably and consistently between sessions.

Cold laser therapy (also called low-level laser therapy) is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light applied to targeted areas. It’s commonly used to support comfort, inflammation management, and the body’s natural healing processes—especially for sore or tight muscles, soft tissue strains, and tendon/ligament support.
Cold laser sessions are tailored to the horse and the area(s) being treated, and can be used on its own or alongside massage, equine taping, and veterinary-guided rehab plans.
